The devil is in our media, this what I wrote to Mike Malloy, I am attempting to disseminate information about our ridiculus media.

Dear Mr. Malloy,

Of all the talk radio personalities, I think you are probably my best bet. I share your concerns with media and the current - though receding - impotence of progressive values even in the Democratic Party.

In our days of very nearly neo-soviet style pro-government media, I am doing my part to fight it. My voice does not have ten's of affiliates and thousands of watts of power behind it, yours does. Please take a moment to note this.

I have provided links for comparative information that provides excellent contrast on the following issue. I am trying to be as helpful as possible in casing an argument with facts.

Ward Churchill was (as of the 31st) the head of the ethnic studies department at CU. College republicans have chosen to make an example of him due to his statements concerning the tacit consent of American businesses for American imperialism (in their minds, his anti-Americanism).

Here is a statement by Ward Churchill:

It is an absolute necessity that we at least consider the possibility that we have some influence on the feelings of the world. Republicans have made a habit of denying the reality of the situation at face value. This is evident in the mantra, "If it was America, it was good." Through torture, political assassinations, and staged revolt, America has long held policies that cause death, dismemberment and loss of "Liberty".

The media follows lock step with the Republican ideal of America the infallible, the media supports this ideal through attacks without merit. In the following article by the Denver Post, it takes little effort to see where the journalist has no inclination to state the facts:

The information offered is editorialized, plain and simple. And since the Denver Post is an Associated Press affiliate, this information will be copied time and again. This is Fact Assassination, the destruction of truth through omission. The Denver Post, or at least the journalist responsible, should be taken over the coals for abject opposition to journalistic integrity.

Please take the time to examine the information here, form your own opinions. I just ask that you talk about it a bit, no matter your thoughts, on the air.

Thank you sincerely,

Eean
